“ Happened upon this spot and was very happy! Friendly and efficient service, delicious bagels, and a refreshing iced latte. ”
“ Great place to grab a bite while waiting for the coffee line to shrink at Quat. Had nothing to do with Bagel Slice, but I faced a quandary while sitting outside waiting for my/our order (great outdoor seating here). I have long identified as a vegetarian, but I made an apparent promise (which I do not remember) to my mother that I would eat salmon for health reasons. So, who am I? What am I? The word pescatarian—it terrifies me. Am I a flesh eater? I pass no judgement on those who consume flesh—this is a me thing, something I read too much about. And, heck, I feel guilt for not being vegan. But should this me about me? It should about others, life should be about others, and, in this case, mother. So did I really eat the Lox? Yes. But did I eat it for myself? Did gluttony drive me to eat the Lox? I’d like to say no. But maybe that doesn’t matter. The salt bagel is tip-top. ”
“ Delicious pizza! We had margherita slices and got to try the cheese. Perfection. Also loved the egg sandwich! All ingredients are fresh. Excellent customer service, too. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast lunch. ”
“ Bagels Slice is a true culinary gem that effortlessly combines two classic comfort foods. Their bagels are a revelation - fresh, chewy, and boasting a perfect crust. The scallion cream cheese is a standout, creating an irresistible pairing with the everything bagel. But the magic doesn't stop there. Their breakfast sandwiches are a must-try, with generous egg fillings that will leave you feeling satisfied. And when you crave something different, their Neapolitan-style pizzas are a delightful surprise. The mushroom pizza was a standout for me, but the jalapeno and spicy sausage options also pack a flavorful punch. Don't miss out on their other delectable offerings like the blueberry cream cheese - a sweet and tangy treat - and the chorizo bagel sandwich featuring imported Oaxaca chorizo, a bold and authentic flavor combination. Bagels Slice is a must-visit for bagel and pizza lovers alike! Have you tried their coffee or other menu items? ”
“ Incredible service and as a New Yorker these bagels were AMAZING!! I had a Caprese special with fresh buratta mozzarella cheese and it was delicious. The atmosphere, the locally sourced coffee, and the service is out of this world. Michael owns this establishment and is INCREDIBLY KIND. I can’t wait to go back! Go support your local business and go here! Thank you for the amazing experience! 10/10!!!!! ”
“ Here at Bagel Slice, everything is so nice, especially their breakfast sandwiches, loaded pizzas and lattes with the coolest art. Their bagels are rolled, boiled, and baked in-house, and is right up there at being one of the best in his city @bagelandslice ‘s pizza selections make it hard to pick just one, so luckily you can order by the slice and have multiple options Don’t miss out! We had: Egg Sandwich, Breakfast Bagel Pocket, Mushroom Pizza, Carne Asada Pizza, Latte ”
“ My wife and I are always looking out for new pizza places to try in and around Los Angeles. Bagel Slice is located in Highland Park right near Occidental College. I can only review the pizza since I have never tried their bagels. You have the choice of purchasing a whole pie or slices. This is a particularly good place for slices. I could tell from the first bite that they use higher quality ingredients. The crust has a crisp that I like. The tomato sauce was not acidic, and the cheese had excellent flavor. In addition to regular slices, they also have two vegan options. Is this a place worth driving to? Yes, it is. Since the Los Angeles Area is so vast, I would definitely make the effort to go here when I am on the east side either going to Glendale or Pasadena. ”
“ I am so happy HP finally has an easy to get, solid bagel place. Blueberry cream cheese is to die for. Really tasty pizza too! I’m here like once a week. The chorizo breakfast bagel sandwich is also a must try ”
